| Boxers are family dogs that are very good with children.
They want to be a part of the family and to be “in the thick of things”.
They are “clowns” at heart, and will make you laugh often. They are loyal
and will love you unconditionally. Boxers are NOT outside dogs.
They cannot tolerate extreme cold or extreme heat.
No one can predict the future, however, a reputable
breeder will do everything they can to screen the genetic health of the
animals they are breeding. Legacy Boxers requires all boxers in their breeding
program to be health tested. These tests include: Holter monitor, Echocardiogram,
ARVC genetic testing, DM genetic testing, Thyroid testing, and Brucellosis
testing. All of our boxers are on heart prevention and have updated immunizations.
If you are interested in acquiring one of our puppies,
we require that you complete and submit our puppy application. We
strive to place our puppies in the best homes possible. Our goal is for
them to be in this home forever. If, for some reason, you cannot keep a
boxer bred by Legacy Boxers, no matter what the age, we require that you
contact us so that we can assist you in finding an appropriate home if
you can no longer care for the dog. We never want a boxer that we have
bred to end up in a shelter. |
